I’m registered for the conference. What do I do now?
After registering for the conference, contact the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego to make your hotel reservation. Reservations can be made online or by calling 800-233-1234. Mention the National PACE Association to receive the special discounted room rate of $319 plus taxes. The hotel reservation deadline is Sept. 19, based on availability. We recommend you book early as the hotel will sell out quickly. Please do not place multiple rooms in your name as it precludes others from booking.
What is included in my conference registration?
The registration fee includes three continental breakfasts, five refreshment breaks, site tours of local PACE organizations, a special California Welcome Event and the Opening Night Reception. Additional fees are required for pre-conference symposiums, special luncheons and other activities. Please register in advance for these events. Special meal requests also must be made in advance.
How do I get to San Diego?
The Manchester Grand Hyatt is 3.7 miles (12 minutes) from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). Taxis are readily available outside of the baggage claim areas on the ground level of the airport. The cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel is approximately $20. Ride app pick-up zones are located on the arrivals level in both terminals. From Terminal 1, exit baggage claim and use the new pedestrian crosswalk, with a traffic light to provide access to Ground Transportation resources. From Terminal 2, use the main crosswalk to Transportation Plaza and find the ride-sharing pick-up area in the second lane on the right.
Is parking available?
Valet parking is available at the Manchester Grand Hyatt for $65 per night. Parking is subject to availability, and pricing may change. Self-parking for hotel guests is $45 per day, or $10 for the first hour and $8 each additional hour.
What is the best way to get around San Diego?
The Manchester Grand Hyatt is located at Seaport Village Station, making it easy to travel across Downtown San Diego using the trolley. Seaport Village is on the Green Line, offering easy access to Fashion Valley, Mission Valley shopping centers, Old Town and Petco Park. For more information, visit the Metropolitan Transit System website.
What safety precautions will be in place at the conference for COVID-19?
Everyone planning to attend the conference must agree to abide by all health and safety guidelines and recommendations related to COVID-19 promulgated by federal, state and local government agencies and officials, as well as by NPA and the event venue. If any health and safety guidelines are implemented, NPA will advise attendees. If any attendees test positive for COVID or are exposed to COVID, they must abide by current CDC Respiratory Illness Guidelines. Among the CDC resources available is the COVID Facility Access Tool.

The NPA Annual Conference has been pre-approved for physician, nursing and social worker continuing education credits. Registrants can claim credits commensurate with their participation at the conclusion of the conference.
