Conference Highlights

Focus on Behavioral Health

This year, the concentration of the NPA Annual conference is behavioral health, a critical area of health care. PACE participants have a complex set of health care problems, and mental well-being has a direct correlation to their overall health, as well as the members of the interdisciplinary team who provide care.

New areas of behavioral health will be addressed in educational sessions. While often overlooked, they greatly affect PACE staff, participants and other stakeholders. Addressing the efficiency, effectiveness and emotional well-being of key staff members will have a direct impact on the quality of a participant’s care plan and day-to-day care coordination.
