In this course we will delve into Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which are designed to provide comprehensive, community-based care to older adults who want to live independently in their communities for as long as possible. We will explore the evolution of the PACE model of care, how PACE programs address the medical, physical, emotional and social needs of participants, and outcomes that make PACE a consistently high performer according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This course will provide a solid understanding of how PACE programs function and the invaluable impact they have on the lives of participants and their families.

This course highlights the essential role of interdisciplinary teams in providing care for older adults. Focusing on Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), learners will explore the specific characteristics of PACE participants, the essential functions of PACE interdisciplinary teams, and aligning the plan of care to what matters to the participant. This is NPA member-only content.

This course provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of interdisciplinary team members within Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Learners will explore federally mandated roles and responsibilities as well as additional disciplines that enhance interdisciplinary team discussions, ensuring comprehensive care for PACE participants. This course is part of a series, and we recommend completing The Role of Interdisciplinary Teams in Caring Older Adults first to build a stronger foundation. This is NPA member-only content.

- On the Current tab of your Learning Center, click on the banner: Did you enroll in a course, but it doesn't appear in your Learning Center? If so, click here to refresh your Learning Center.
- A pop-up window will appear. Select Sync.
- Your Learning Center page will refresh, and your course should appear.
To retrieve your username, select Forgot Username on the sign-on page and follow the prompts on the pop-up window. To reset your password, select Forgot Password on the sign-on page and follow the prompts on the pop-up window.

CE-Accredited Courses
The cost of a CE-accredited course is $35. The cost of the non-CE-accredited version of the courses listed below is $25.
