Jennifer Heidmann, MD, has been medical director at Redwood Coast PACE in rural Northern California since it opened in 2014. She has worked as a hospitalist, primary care internal medicine physician and hospice physician. She serves on several committees, including the National Rural PACE Ethics Committee, the PACE Medical Directors Subcommittee and the NPA Public Policy Committee. She is interested in advocacy for vulnerable populations. She completed a fellowship in contemplative medicine in 2022 and tries to bring compassion and mindfulness into work and life.
